BWY Open Day Norfolk

A day of varied yoga practice with a focus on ease of movement, particularly with regard to the feet.
During this yoga day we will:
- Explore the feet, the soft tissue, the bones and joints
- Roll through the feet, balance on, feel and mobilise the feet
- Practice Yoga postures and movement sequences that make us aware of connections from the feet to the ankles, knees, hip joints, pelvis and spine
- Consider how the movements of the spine and trunk, and the action of breathing, adapt and assist us in coming upright and in moving, resting on, and shifting weight through the feet and legs.
Our approach will be inquisitive, sensitive and attentive. As such it will at times be exploratory and playful and at other times very focused and meditative with breath awareness practices and opportunites for relaxation interwoven into the experience. We may discover new possibilities in our movement, in our breathing, and in how we organise ourselves when on our feet.
