Friends of Yoga Training Day: sensing the pelvis, head and spine

This will be a friendly, focused day with an informed and non-judgemental approach to yoga.
Throughout this day we will pay attention to the relationship between the pelvis and the head as we move and breathe. As we explore supine, prone, upright and inverted postures we will sense how what we do with the pelvis and head affects the structure that connects them – the spine; we will also observe how the shoulders impact on, and respond to, this relationship.
The day will include periods of quiet sitting, breathing, and relaxation, allowing time to notice what you feel, and to absorb and digest the day.
